"What does the Bible say about racism, prejudice, and discrimination?"

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Galatians 3:28
The first thing to understand in this discussion is that there is only one race—the human race. Caucasians, Africans, Asians, Indians, Arabs, and Jews are not different races. Rather, they are different ethnicities of the human race. All human beings have the same physical characteristics (with minor variations, of course). More importantly, all human beings are created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). God loved the world so much that He sent Jesus to lay down His life for us (John 3:16). The “world” obviously includes all ethnic groups.
God does not show partiality or favoritism (Deuteronomy 10:17; Acts 10:34; Romans 2:11; Ephesians 6:9), and neither should we. James 2:4 describes those who discriminate as “judges with evil thoughts.” Instead, we are to love our neighbors as ourselves (James 2:8). In the Old Testament, God divided humanity into two “racial” groups: Jews and Gentiles. God’s intent was for the Jews to be a kingdom of priests, ministering to the Gentile nations. Instead, for the most part, the Jews became proud of their status and despised the Gentiles. Jesus Christ put an end to this, destroying the dividing wall of hostility (Ephesians 2:14). All forms of racism, prejudice, and discrimination are affronts to the work of Christ on the cross.
Jesus commands us to love one another as He loves us (John 13:34). If God is impartial and loves us with impartiality, then we need to love others with that same high standard. Jesus teaches in Matthew 25 that whatever we do to the least of His brothers, we do to Him. If we treat a person with contempt, we are mistreating a person created in God’s image; we are hurting somebody whom God loves and for whom Jesus died.
Racism, in varying forms and to various degrees, has been a plague on humanity for thousands of years. Brothers and sisters of all ethnicities, this should not be. Victims of racism, prejudice, and discrimination need to forgive. Ephesians 4:32 declares, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Racists may not deserve your forgiveness, but we deserved God’s forgiveness far less. Those who practice racism, prejudice, and discrimination need to repent. “Present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (Romans 6:13). May Galatians 3:28 be completely realized, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

when deep sleep falls on men, while they slumber on their beds,
But be doers of the word, and not
hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
So faith comes from hearing, and
hearing through the word of Christ.
But he who enters by the door is the
shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice,
and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out

But he said to me, “My grace is

“And if you faithfully obey the

But he answered them, “My mother and

Moreover, he said to me, “Son of
man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear
with your ears.
Who among you will give ear to this,
will attend and listen for the time to come?
And this is the confidence that we
have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
Take care then how you hear, for to
the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he
thinks that he has will be taken away.”
Incline your ear, and hear the words

you keep them within you, if all of them are ready on your lips.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Remember
your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your
steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! Good and

one another, each to his brother, ‘Come, and hear what the word is that comes
from the Lord.’ And they come to you as people come, and they sit before you as
my people, and they hear what you say but they will not do it; for with lustful
talk in their mouths they act; their heart is set on their gain. And behold,
you are to them like one who sings lustful songs with a beautiful voice and

Listen to advice and accept

Who among you will give ear to this,

and Israel to the plunderers? Was it not the Lord, against whom we have sinned,
in whose ways they would not walk, and whose law they would not obey? So he
poured on him the heat of his anger and the might of battle; it set him on fire
all around, but he did not understand; it burned him up, but he did not take it

Know this, my beloved brothers: let
every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;
The natural person does not accept
the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able
to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
“You stiff-necked people,
uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your
fathers did, so do you.
“I can do nothing on my own. As I

will of him who sent me.
If one gives an answer before he

And the peace of God, which

Thus says the Lord of hosts: “They

no pleasure in it. Therefore I am full of the wrath of the Lord; I am weary of
holding it in. “Pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the

The Lord God has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may

Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart

The Coronation of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Trinity and as she Receiving the Covenant of Mercy
(Kidane Meheret)
Jesus fasted forty days and forty nights
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:1-11
1 - Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2 - And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.3 - And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 - But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5 - Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6- And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 - Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8- Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 -And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10- Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11 -Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
